AUTOMESH : Mesh generation program
The creation function of element mesh from AutoCAD
DXF file and the interactive working menu in Autotmesh.
You can create mesh generation with
various CAD functions, and can input material properties or loads in windows,
and can work all jobs with viewing.
PEN2PRE : Input data checking program
PEN2PRE is almost similar with PEN2POST. But it cannot display the
analysis result . It reads only the input file and show you a picture such as
boundary condition, applied loads, material number, etc. according
to the construction stages. Then, you can easily find the input errors.
PEN2_DBX : 2D finite-element-analysis program
1. There are three
kinds of solvers, such as Frontal method, Skyline method or Block-skyline
method. To excavate ground with
Elasticity-Elastoplastic function,
tunnel and/or embankment, saturation-unsaturation
seepage and/or settlement can be analyzed. Also the solver has the many dynamic analysis features, such
as eigen value analysis, earthquake spectrum analysis, transient time history
analysis and ground motion analysis. And also according to the varying groundwater level, it
can analyze the effective stress analysis in ground.
2. The complicated staged construction analysis can be
possible, such as 'Excavation - Groundwater level changing - Settlements -
Excavation - Groundwater level changing - Settlements - ...'. After the seepage analysis is applied, the obtained
head-gradient is applied automatically as the seepage force. So, the
coupling analysis is done automatically.
3. When the concrete lining is analyzed, the tensile
ground spring is removed automatically during the calculation in stiffness
matrix. And then, if the tensile ground spring is varied as
compression state, it is included again in stiffness matrix at next
iteration.
PEN2POST displays the analysis result as a graphic.
It displays various
analysis results such as contouring and/or vectoring for the
displacements, stresses, the failure rate of the plane strain element, which the
failure rate represents the approaching ratio of the plastic state, the
member forces ( axial force, shear force, bending moment ) and/or stresses
of the frame elements, the axial forces, stresses of the truss elements,
hydraulic
gradient, flow vector, flow rate, pore water pressure and total head of the
plane strain element, of the plain strain element, the member forces of the spring element.
